We offer our patients with a wide range of services to provide the best possible patient centered care. We provide chronic disease management plans for eligible patients, immunisation history update, health assessment, medical checks, and many other services for our patients. Not only our doctors, our nurses are well- experienced to provide you with relevant clinical suggestions as well as are able to guide you in the right direction. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to all our patients.

- Childhood Immunisation & Travel Vaccination

Childhood Immunisation

Childhood Immunisations are funded through the Australian Government. Our nurses are responsible to send reminders for upcoming or missed vaccinations to all our patients. Consequently, Our Nurse can also work out any catch up immunisations to ensure that your child is fully immunised and protected.

Please Note. No childhood immunisation can be done in the absence of a nurse. Hence, please call the practice to inquire about the nurse availability before booking any immunisation appointments.

Travel Vaccination

Alongside these we also stock many private vaccinations, and travel vaccinations as well as being a Yellow Fever accredited Vaccinated practice

- Vitamin & Iron Infusion

- Routine Health Check/ Assessment

Our Nurses are responsible to remind/ update eligible patients about their health check/ assessment. We offer a range of health check/ assessments such as,

• Indigenous health assessment
• 75 plus health assessment
• Heart health check
• Mental health checks
• Circulation test, etc.

Routine health checks and assessment are bulk- billed for eligible patients. Please check with our clinical staff to find out if you are eligible.

- Pre- Employment Medicals & Driver’s Health Assessment

Horizon Family Doctors offers private medicals for pre- employment as well as commercial driver license as well.

As part of the pre- employment medical we provide:

• Thorough Skeleto- muscular assessment
• Drug & Alcohol test
• Audiometry
• Spirometry
• Other basic health examinations

No medicare rebate is available for these services and are completely private. All patients are notified of the fee prior to any services or procedure.
